It is Fall…..

Covered Bridge in Fall - Old Sturbridge Village, Massachusetts

It is that time of year again, the temperature is getting cooler, leaves are starting to change and you can tell that Fall is here. I love taking the kids to the park and seeing all the wonderful things this time of year. The leaves crunching under our feet have always been a comforting sound to me.  It is time for fires and hoodies. Last week I made some chili on a cooler day. I have not decorated my home for fall yet but think I may be purchasing some pumpkins soon. My debate this year is do we go with the real ones or do we purchase the craft ones? I have seen some really neat ideas on Pinterest. You can find me on Pinterest here.

Do you have a favorite thing about fall?

This photo is thanks to www.discovernewengland.org and is of Among the many historic buildings at Old Sturbridge Village, you can see the Covered Bridge that once stood in Dummerston, Vermont before being dismantled, transported, and re-erected here. Old Sturbridge Village is one of the country’s oldest and largest living history museums, depicting early New England life from 1790-1840 with historians in costume, antique buildings, water-powered mills, and a working farm. Visitors can view antiques, meet heritage breed animals, and enjoy hands-on crafts. The Village is open year-round, but hours change seasonally.
