My New Bistro Set

Let me tell you I have always loved Tractor Supply. I stopped in yesterday and saw this adorable 3 piece bistro set. It had been $149.99 earlier in the year and was on sale for $99.99. If you had seen my front porch in the past I had a cheap bench. My son Dave was able to assemble everything in about 30 minutes. I love the barnstars! It is very sturdy. We get lots of high wind in our area so I will not need to worry about anything blowing over. I love the rustic/primitive look it ties in with my look.

For our porch it is the perfect size  not too big not too small.

This is the stool and bottom of the table close up.

This is the top of the table.

Hard to see it on the porch from the front.

I am so excited that I have a new place to sit and enjoy!

My Primitive Decor For My Bathroom

I found this sign at Meijer it was marked $29.99 but rang up on sale for 1/2 off. I put it in my bathroom last week.

DIY Primitive Decor For My Kitchen Table

Earlier in the year I had seen a company selling caddies for flowers for around $50.00 I was able to find the set of jars in the holder for $19.99 at Hobby Lobby. They were on sale for 1/2 off so it was only around $10 plus tax. The others I has seen had berries and other things in them. I love these burlap flowers that I also found at Hobby Lobby. They were not on sale and they were each $2.79. I purchased 6 of them. They had long stems so I folded them over. I have been leaving this on display on my kitchen table. I may mix it up over time and put other things in the jars. I may even use real flowers.

My Front Porch

Earlier in the year I ordered a beautiful burlap wreath that I have had on my front door. I love the fact that it can pretty much stay up year round. Here is a picture of it closer up-

Last week my son and I were shopping at a antique mall and found a cute burlap bag...filled with fake straw. It was on sale for $19.99 and I thought it would be a cute addition to my front porch. I have taken a picture a little closer in so you can see it-

Not sure what it is about burlap but it really is one of my favorite things to decorate with. What do you like to decorate with? Do you have a favorite theme? Be sure to comment and let me know!

My Barnstar Lights

I was thrilled when we built our home that I was able to choose almost all the items for our home. I found these great barnstar lights. We have one on our front porch and 2 larger ones on our garage. It goes very well with my primitive decor.

My Front Garden

Over the last few weeks I have been working on my front garden. They had a few plants and 2 rosebushes for the landscaping when we moved in. I added some lilac, carnations and obident plants along with black mulch. I find working in the garden is so relaxing.
